SHINE AGENCY // paisley alive festival

Summary

In collaboration with Shine Agency, I helped create suite of 3D animations to help the studio promote their branding for Paisley Alive; Scotland’s first music and wellness festival.

Working with head of design, Kieran Reilly, the aim of the project was to help push the visiblity of the work on social media and to showcase the brand in different ways that elevated beyond traditional mockups.

The focus for the 3D icons was a Y2K/rave aesthetic but looped back into the festival’s health focus.

Using Cinema4D, I modelled each asset with and referred back to the brand pack provided by Shine to make sure the colours, the icon, and the general feel of the festival was correct. I made sure to focus on “healthy” aspects of the brand so the focus was a mix of yoga, sports jersey, water bottles but also some festival iconography like plastic cups.

A more detailed breakdown of the main icon is featured below.

The work was a huge hit and the 3D animations were featured on Visual Journal, a massive graphic design blog with over 200k followers on Instagram, which I was delighted to see. Thanks to Shine for including me in the process!
